Baby J’s 1st Christmas - 6 months old {Kyle Family Photographer}

Repeat clients are so much fun.  Especially when the subject is a chubby little boy!  Mom had so many fun ideas for this 1st Christmas session.  And I was all willing.  Pretty pleased with these images.  All it took was the help of Pinterest and a little patience.  jakoby008web

Gotta Love Extended Family {Bee Caves Family Photographer}

It is so much fun to get a family together and attempt to photograph them all together, smiling, and happy.  I had a blast spending the morning with the S-O family.  H wanted to go some place a little more rustic and different than my usual family spot, so I asked another client if it would be okay to head out to their property and take some photos.  The other client said yes (Thanks, A) and we headed out to a little spot in Bee Caves.

H and her boys are as sweet as can be.  She and her sisters are gorgeous, and Mom and Stepdad were super easy to please.  The photos turned out beautifully, and their Christmas pictures were complete.

Need a Christmas Card?

One of the things I love about the service I provide my clients is including a full print release with the session.  This gives my clients the flexibility to print their photos at their own leisure from their favorite photo centers.  One of my favorite places to print photos from is Shutterfly.  I’ve used Shutterfly personally since my daughter was born.  It has been a wonderful way to not only print photos, but to also share them with my family and friends, especially those across the country.

   This year, I received in the mail a Shutterfly Christmas Card and was completely blown away by the quality.  Immediately, I got online and began looking for the perfect card for my family’s personal Christmas Card this year.  And as a photographer, I feel I must recommend Shutterfly Christmas and Holiday Cards to my clients.  They even have a wonderful selections of Religious Christmas Cards, something I am always looking for because not only do I want to share a photo, but also the true meaning of Christmas.  Below you will find a few samples of Greeting Cards that Shutterfly offers - these are of course, my absolute favorite cards that are available for purchase.

Light the Christmas Tree {Austin Children Photographer}

049

This morning I had the opportunity to take photos of this precious pair of siblings. Not only are the children adorable, but they are sweet as can be. Mr. T had a blast challenging me to get him to smile, and despite Miss M’s not feeling well, she was still almost too adorable for words. I was honored to photograph these blessings from above.

The Camping Place {Austin Children Photographer}

Andreasen 170These two cuties took me to their “camping place” for their photo session. We headed out to McKinney Falls State Park to snap Mr. S’s 6 Year photo and a Christmas picture of the two of them together. Don’t you just LOVE how Miss K’s eyes just pop. It was so much fun to spend the morning with these two sweeties and capture their sibling love for one another. They really are blessings from above.

More Family Fun {Austin Family Photographer}

DSC_0149bw

Sometimes the best thing about family photography is being able to spend time with my actual family, including my beautiful sister-in-law, her handsome and funny hubby, and their two boys. Of course, keeping up with those two was one thing, but taking their picture wasn’t as difficult as I expected. I mean, I’ve BEEN with them to get their photo made with my kids, and it is not fun. But yesterday, was fun, and actually non-stressful, and I was the one behind the camera, not some stranger. But both these boys and their family are HUGE blessings from above, and I had the honor of capturing them on camera this year.

Finding the Perfect Christmas Photo {Austin Family Photographer}

The best part about being a photographer (can I really say that?) is having the ability to take photos of my kids. I cannot tell you how much money we spent in the past on photos of our kids. And now, I can just dress them up, take them somewhere different, and tell them to smile <---- okay, I admit, I have to bribe them to smile. LOL. But regardless of how I get them to do it, the end result is great photos of my blessings from above.DSC_1001

Celebrating One and Christmas Photos {Austin Family Photographer}

DSC_0402

This is one of my favorite families to photograph. I’ve been taking their pictures since little Miss G’s birth. And in July, she celebrated turning one! Mom and Dad have been back and forth from Colorado so they haven’t had time to sit and take photos until recently. Earlier this week, I was given the opportunity to shoot another photo of their little family. And these are the photos of those blessings from above.

A Family Full of Love {Austin Family Photographer}

November 22 2009 123I had the opportunity to spend a morning with not just a fun family, but personal friends of mine. It was so exciting to take photos of friends and then see their reactions when they received the photos. It is such a blessing being able to capture the love of a family in time. And this family has lots of love for one another and it is reflected in their photos. Take a look at these blessings from above.

Adorable Family of Four {Austin Family Photographer}

DSC_0027_4498_4x6Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph the adorable C Family. From the moment I saw them, these little boys stole my heart. Due to inclement weather, we had to improvise on our photo shoot making for a short mini session and not many photos. Mom and Dad were happy with the ones I was able to share with them so the photo shoot was a success. We have another mini session scheduled for next week to get photos of the boys together. Praying the weather will cooperate so I can capture more photos of these blessings from above.
