Mom and Her Kiddos {Austin Family Photographer}

I photographed this sweet mom and her kiddos in the Spring.  She let me know right away that she was going to want photos in the fall.  After weeks of exchanging emails, we were finally able to work out a date and time and headed out to Zilker to take some photos.

Quote of the day: Mom, I love you a lot, but I’m so NOT going to kiss you.

Such a handsome young man.  He’ll be a senior next year.  I cannot wait to spotlight him!

W Family Predeployment {Austin OpLOVE Photographer}

After exchanging several emails with this family, we were finally able to meet for a session.  We chose to shoot them at Auditorium Shores because of the openness that is available for their little one to run around.  My mom made an adorable hat, and I made a red, white, and blue tutu to help add a little more patriotism to our session.  It was truly an honor to spend an hour with this family and capture these moments together before Dad heads out to serve our country.

First Birthday Cake Smash {Austin Child Photographer}

Miss V has been featured on the blog a few times now, but celebrating her first birthday is something that definitely warrants its own session!  We opted for an outdoor session at Zilker Park.  We took Miss V and presented her with a small cake and let her go crazy – It took her a while to warm up to the idea, but once she figured out that it was covered in buttercream frosting, she had a blast.

A friend of mine from my childhood called and asked if I could squeeze her in for some shots of her and her daughter.  It was so much fun catching up with her as we haven’t seen each other in over 10 years.  I love that she found me on Facebook and loved my work!  I know she loved these images as well.  She made a special trip to Austin just so we could do photos.  I felt like Zilker Park was the perfect place to take them to not only get some great images but to also give them a little taste of Austin.

Miss M has a sweet and sassy attitude that was so fun to capture on camera.

Senior Spotlight–Bowie High school {Austin Senior Photographer}

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing a graduation Senior from Bowie High School.  The photo shoot was fun and carefree, just K & I wandering around Zilker Hillside Theater.  K was so energetic and fun, willing to do just about anything to capture a good photo.  She climbed trees, rolled in the grass, and even braved the fire ants on the step.  My first Senior Session was a complete success and I’m pleased to share the photos.

K’s big brother showed up about 1/2 way through our session.  Of course we had to take a few photos of the two of them together!

I Heart Faces–Best Face of May

K is a beautiful young woman who is graduating from high school this week.  When her mother asked me to shoot her Senior portraits, I was so excited.  And then when I met K, I knew the session was going to rock.  Talk about stunningly beautiful, energetic and sweet!  The photo shoot was very fun to say the least.  K was climbing trees and rolling around in the grass.  I have several favorites from the day, but this one is my all time favorite.
